I don't get the fascination with Gore, I really don't. And I voted for him in 2000.

What's he bringing to the table that he didn't bring seven years ago?

    Rudy vs. Hillary vs. Bloomberg.

Forty-nine states (and most of No. 50 north of Poughkeepsie) let out a collective groan.

I don't get why Gore is waiting.
Is he waiting for the most dramatic moment or is he really not running?

His popularity will only go down if he enters now. I don't think he's running, but the smarter play would probably be to jump in late after the other candidates have beat up on each other for a while longer.

I find it astonishing that people believe HRC will get the nomination. She CANNOT win a general election.

    I agree.
And, if for some reason, she does get the nom, whomever the Republican candidate is should hammer the point that you're just voting for someone who sits in the chair while hubby does the work for her.

Can't see it, Pontiff. Can't see Hillary winning a state south of Maryland... unless you count Hawaii.

    Let me throw this out:
Does, in any case, HRC get a Veep offer?

If offered, I don't see her accepting it.

    Why not?

    Hillary ain't taking a VP offer, I don't think.

    And Gore isn't running.

I just don't see her playing second fiddle to anyone else -- especially this field of candidates.
