Roy Firestone Come Back To Us

    Went to Don Larsen perfect game dinner last night and for a time felt like I was sitting in Branson, MO.

    Roy Firestone was introduced to do a tribute to Don. He came out and talked a bit then morphed into Wayne Newton. He did a cheesy little song act that you might see in one off the secondary lounges of Vegas.


    I used to love his ESPN interview show but when he retired I pretty much forgot about him.

    I had not realized that he moved on to try and become the next Danny Gans.

    I thought about him the other day, when I was reminded of a Simpsons episode he was in.
