    I'm torn on this one.

    I love their old music with Roth, and my brother, a hardcore Van halen fan who saw them a few times with Roth, says it will be a great show. And he reminds me that Roth is a black belt who may well be in good shape.

    But what if they suck? Eddie was just in rehab. But James Hetfield was in rehab, came out and was great on the last US Metallica tour.

    Crap.

    Supposedly, the band held a rehearsal last weekend in Los Angeles at an undisclosed place (rumors are it was at the Forum) and they ran through a ton of songs. Of course not one of them was from the Van Hagar days.
