Truly sucky, since Romo some day at some time is going to spit (or piss) in the face of his many critics.
He can and will win big games at some point.
The guy is total class with a real douche for a GM, and that trickles down to every facet of the team that Romo is trying to lead.
They need him Sunday if he can go, that's all I know.

You scoff, but a hundred rounds a year of golf over many years can take a toll. Add the NFL pounding on top of that.

If Dallas loses next Sunday Night, it doesn't matter if Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach or Tony Romo is qb.....Garrett and everyone else will be gone .

Ironically, a buddy and I were talking Sunday about the whole Romo in December and we asked that very question: how would Dallas do with Orton instead? It might be fun for all the Romo haters to find out.

Nope. This pretty much saves Garrett's job.

And sets the franchise back another five years as a result.

Actually, golf is very hard on your back.
In some ways, it's worse than football.

Hard, physical contact is not the only way to wreck your spine.

So is waking up and doing everyday things. To remotely put this on golf is ridiculous.

    The nightmare scenario will be:

Orton leads the Cowboys to a win over the Eagles. Then, Dallas gets a favorable pairing at home with the Saints in the first round of the playoffs and wins.

They lose in the Divisional Playoff, but people will spend the entire off-season wondering if the Cowboys are better off with Orton than Romo...

Any mention of Kyle Orton is a good excuse to trot out this photo collage:
