    Crossthreading, but a deep cut that shows off TVZ's exquisite songwriting is Tecumseh Valley. Just a haunting, beautiful and tragic song.

    I've always thought the whole "Infidels" album is really underrated. It was from a period with some really weak stuff, but that album holds up well.

    Steve Earle is overrated as a songwriter, and Townes IS one of the best. He just never had a magazine shilling for him for decades. Or ever, for that matter.
