I think it's like every six weeks.

I saw what apparently was the new list/mag on the newsstand the other day I didn't even realize it was a new one. Just figured it was a leftover of the one from years ago.

They have a "best of" rotation. It goes songs, albums, bands, guitarists, wild card (this may be songwriters, best songs not release by CSN/the Eagles/Jackson Browne, movies, concerts from the 1970s) and then it starts over again.

I used to love those issues, but if you're doing them that frequently, they lose their impact.

Haven't seen it. Wonder how much it costs.

As much as I love the Beatles, they're as bad as Elvis for all the repackaging crap they do.

At least "Live at the BBC" and "Anthology" gave us stuff we hadn't heard before.

These lists are an exercise in futility unless done with a great deal of thought and consideration.

This one falls in the futile category.

    Something else that sucks.

Gee, I wonder if they have anything or anyone in common??

How about a list of 100 Rock and Roll songs Jann Wenner abhors?

That probably would be one kick ass playlist...

Weren't they originally intended as some sort of anniversary celebration? I have no problem with that, but they should leave well enough alone. We, as a society, do like our lists, though.
