Robin is universally adored in the industry. In her first year at ESPN way back when, she definitely had the Softball Coach Starter Kit look going.

 

Or, it could be that, despite the fact that she is in a liberal industry in a liberal city, there are some societal stigmas which are hard to overcome. Good for her.

 

Gotta give Robin props in her MDS battle. My girlfriend's sister died from MDS 18 months ago. Dec 30th would have her 63rd birthday. MDS is vicious and Robin is fortunate.

Playing it up on GMA? Oh well, Katie took the colonoscopy on live tv, so I guess all kind of shit is fair game on the morning shows.
