    Reputedly one of the hardest throwers of all-time. Pitched two no-hitters for the Tigers in 1952. Died Saturday at 95:

    The really cool thing about those no-hitters was he only won three other games that year and lost 19 for a shitty club. So he really had to no-hit the other team in order to win.

    RIP. Sounds like he was a really nice man.
