    That story doesn't mention...did he breed any puppies? Will UGA VII be from the same lineage?

    From the story:
    Seiler said Saturday that the "lineage is taken care of" and would be announced by Seilers and the UGA athletic association later.

    Not sure what that means, but it sounds like they're ready for the next in line.

    Indeed. That dog lives better than I ever will. Private plane ushers him from Savannah to Athens... air conditioned house, bag of ice to rest his boys on.

    We, friends, should all be so fortunate. I guess god needed one hideous fucking chut of a dog. :)

    Although my loyalties fall elsewhere, hate seeing any great SEC mascot bite the dust.

    First Mike V last May, now Uga VI. Hopefully Smokey's not next.
