Was Tom Watson just a red-ass to Skip Bayless and other media, but a darling on the course?

20-some years ago I used to play much more and I played a lot with a friend who had a real temper. One day he got his own comeuppance in the funniest thing I ever saw on a golf course.

He was using a pull cart and after scuffing a 3-wood shot he slammed the 3-wood over the handle of the pull cart. The shaft snapped and the momentum swung the head of the club down and right back at him, smacking him squarely in the jimmies.

He's lying on the ground writhing in pain and I and another friend just walked up the fairway because we didn't want him to see how hard we were laughing.

    RIP to a good Okie.

(BTW, found it spooky that "Thunder" died the same day the OKC mascot was revealed.)
