    Alley I am sorry for your loss. Little Man is blessed to have such a kind and caring father. My heart goes out to you both.

    To everyone who has taken the time to offer their condolences, I give you heartfelt thanks. This is not the first time I've seen people on this board truly reach out to a member in need and it's one of the main reasons why I love coming to this board over and over and over.


    As odd as it sounds, my sister, Little Man and I decided to honor Ruthie in a way that is truly appropriate for her. We went to a hockey game. (OK...we already had the tickets, but going to the game anyway was absolutely the right decision). Ruthie and I shared a passionate love of the Devils and one of her birthday gifts to me was tickets to the opening round of the Stanley Cup playoffs several years ago. As it turned out, Martin Brodeur scored a goal in that game and the Devils won. And the personalized Maple Leafs jersey I wore tonight was another gift from her to me. :)
