    I think Wozniak is alright.

Jobs would have to rank as one of the 100 most influential people of both the 20th and 21st centuries. That's a tough double to pull off.

I think Steve Jobs broke Twitter.

What a life he led. Stunning to think he put it all in 56 years.

When I talk to my students about how to cover a speech, we always watch Jobs' graduation speech at Stanford. So I watch that speech two or three times every semester, and have for the last five years. I always know exactly what he's going to say, but I still get goosebumps.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that that was one of the greatest graduation speeches ever given. I agree. I've listened to a lot of them trying to find other ones to use in class, but haven't found a better one yet.

I'd lean more towards hell. You know, suicide nets at the factory and all.

    I was just gonna say.....

No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don't want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it.

    This guy begs to differ:

Politics aside, I liked this quote from Obama: "The world has lost a visionary. And there may be no greater tribute to Steve's success than the fact that much of the world learned of his passing on a device he invented."
