My wife drug me to "Dirty Dancing" against my will. Good movie, even as I spent most of the night having a secret fantasy over Jennifer Grey.

Big deal. She wooed over Swayze.

RIP dude. Hell of an actor.

"Ghost" and another great acting job came out right after my dad died... I found myself wishing I could have an encounter with him just once...

    He died standing up.

I watched his last show The Beast only because he was in it. He was one of those actors who you liked and wanted to support his work.

    RIP Patrick.

I just hope God doesn't look at him and say, "I thought you'd be bigger."

TigerVols, it's well known he was not drunk when he had an emergency landing in Arizona, but rather suffered altitude sickness based on fast depressurization. He did battle the bottle at another time in his life, but not that day.
A fine Texan, Mr. Swayze was.

He had the time of his life.

As the cast of MST3K suggested, this holiday season, let's have a Patrick Swayze Christmas.

I know that depressurization and altitude sickness are what Swayze asserted, but I was under the impression that open containers of alcohol were found in the plane (by the construction workers). And Swayze went to a hotel for several hours to sober up before contacting the police. I know he battled with alcohol in the past...

But perhaps now is not be the best time for this particular discussion.

Well, here is the NTSB report, where they are not especially prone to covering things up.
