Roseanne did a great bit with the Beckies with the Patty Duke theme song.

God, I hated that song. My sister watched Patty Duke all the time on TVLand many years ago.

For whatevere nostalgia we might havc for 1960s TV, there were some silly concepts: The "identical cousins"? What kind of incestuous machinations caused that? My Mother the Car?? Families of ghouls in suburbia?

I may have told this here before, but my best friend went to the next high school over and called me after the first day to tell me about the smoking hot girl in one of his classes. Not too much later, ODAAT came on and he learned his classmate was Bertanelli.

It was the same high school John Elway went to.

Couple with a combined six kids decides to get married with the kids barely meeting each other.

A millionaire, his wife, a movie star and a woman from the Midwest pack a bunch of clothes for a three-hour boat tour.

Just finished reading "Andy & Don" about the friendship between Andy Griffith and Don Knotts. Turns out Knotts and Harrington were buddies when they were just coming up (played bridge together, etc.). When one of them got a call about a part, he didn't even tell the other for fear that the other would try to steal it from him.

Then Came Bronson, TV's attempt at Easy Rider. It was a good show.
