    ON-J was the total package.

    Insanely fucking talented.

    Insanely fucking cute.

If she wasn't my first celebrity crush, she was in the team photo. RIP.

Bozzio, Madonna, ON-J were my Magic-Kareem-Worthy.

    Oh that just sucks.

I always loved her voice, and I had a huge crush on her when I was a kid.

About 2 weeks ago, we were playing music on a random loop and the song "Magic" from Xanadu (which is the best movie / album ever that bombed) came on, and I went Karaoke crazy around our living room.

The poor woman was battling breast cancer for what seemed like her whole adult life. I hope she didn't suffer too bad.

    RIP.

Wow, first Helen Reddy, then Judith Durham and now Olivia Newton-John? That's like 1-2-3 on the "famous female singers from Australia" list.

Kylie Minogue better check her life insurance policy.

Nobody shared the stage with her in my eyes.

This pre-teen could play an ON-J album, and even my headbanger friends understood. And her album cover doubled as a poster on my bedroom wall, and even my headbanger friends understood.

As I remember, I was a little disappointed when she took on "Grease," because it interrupted my dream of her as a perfect, virginal Aussie.

American exceptionalism died when they paired Olivia Newton John with Swan from the Warriors in a fantasy musical, and nobody went to see it.
