My longtime colleague at the Herald at age 66 of brain cancer. Did a lot of Red Sox road trips, NCAA tournaments and BC football games with Mike. There are a lot of happy memories and good stories I have from knowing him, but I can't share them now. Too much sorrow.

Good dude. I saw the Facebook post recently about him being sick and it saddened me. Did some work for me when I was at FanHouse.

Not a fan at all of the current president, based on some of his posts. I'm glad he hung on long enough to see the putz get whipped and I hope that gave him a smile.

    RIP Mike.

Sorry, Michael. And condolences to his family and friends. Brain cancer at 66 is a terrible way to spend what should be your best years.

I only met bbn him once, at a high school baseball game in the mid-90s. He seemed like a really good guy. RIP.

Sounded like the kind of guy I'd have enjoyed working and carousing about with.
