Unfortunate. Between MADtv and SNL, I found the former the more consistently funny, edgier and contemporary. Current cast members Bobby Lee and Arden Myrin (hot!) probably won't have a problem finding someplace to land. The running gag of Bobby as Kim Il Jong, his propensity to turning up in the most inappropriate places in his tighty-whities, always had me rolling. His 24-spoofs were great. Caliendo sprung from MAD, as did Nicole Sullivan (I still laugh, thinking about her "Hmmm. You know what? Uh-uh!" character), and others. Sad.

    Yet SNL lives on.

The past few seasons haven't done much for me when I've seen the show, but the first few were very good. Will Sasso doing the Kenny Rogers Jackass show was hysterical.

At least we still have the re-runs on Comedy Central.

I'm trying to think of how many MAD TV alums I can name...

    Artie Lange
    Frank Caliendo
    Orlando Jones
    Nicole Sullivan

That might be it, but I only watched the first few seasons and then have seen some of the repeats on Comedy Central...

14 years is a great run.

Never liked it. A few skits maybe, but I hardly ever laughed.

Off the top of my head...
Mike MacDonald, one of my favorites
    Aries Spears, never cared for
    Mo Collins, solid
    Bobby Lee, awesome

Ms. Swan character was a favorite too. Can't remember who played her.

And I love me some Nicole Sullivan..........

Gump Fiction from one of the first shows was hilarious...

Bobby Lee is awesome... Spears had a good Comedy Central special back a year or two ago.

It would be a decent argument who is the most successful alum. Caliendo is all over the place, but Lange is one of the most successful touring comedians out there and is on the best radio show of all time.

Ms. Swan is a voice on Family Guy. Meg, I think.

Lois, actually. Meg is the lovely Mila Kunis.

As for MadTV, good riddance. The only skit that made me laugh consistently was Aries Spears as Shaquille O'Neal.
