    Starting to move now.
I thought CNN had said something at 3 ET< wasn't sure that I'd heard or saw right.

The most bizarre three ever: Rod Beck, Chris Benoit and Liz Claiborne.

Probably the only time those three names have made the same sentence.

My mom inexplicably loved her perfume. I'd make her put it on outside the car because it made me gag.

But I got a great pink trench at an LC outlet last year. RIP, Ms. Claiborne.

She brought reasonably good design to reasonably-priced department-store clothes.

Last few years saw a precipitous dip, though, as the design plan seemed geared to just-above-Wal-Mart pastel stretchy pants ladies.

Her company also had a great line of men's clothes. Wasn't huge but well thought out.

My favourite summer suit is a Claiborne. (They didn't call their men's line "Liz Claiborne"--for obvious reasons.

    RIP
