    Reread his autobiography from the 1970s recently. The man has had a remarkable journey from childhood in Gary, to Iowa City, to Detroit, to entertainment.

    I'm saddened at the news.

    He did have one of the most memorable lines ever on MNF: "There's Otis Sistrunk. He's from the University of Mars."

    I always thought his connection to Plimpton was pretty cool...

    I hope he finds peace... While this is sad, it is refreshing to see a NFL player live into his late 70s.
