Rough week in the RIP department.

    Actor/comedian was 87.

Not only was he a hilarious comedian, he was also a former Marine and World War II veteran. That's one reason why I loved him as Gunny Davis in the short-lived sitcom Davis Rules.

That wasn't at all funny and actually a bit offensive.

R.I.P. to the template for Robin Williams, and a master of improv who showed you could be funny without being snarky

Or maybe you just don't get the reference.

brilliant comedian. he also has to rank in the top five when it comes to scooby doo guest stars actually doing a good episode.

Watch this classic Jack Paar clip -- "do something with a stick" -- and it's amazing how much Robin Williams' act was influenced by Winters.

RIP. He was decades ahead of his time.

I'm sure the brothers who owned the gas station don't mind this news.

I got the reference (Mearth aged backwards), but it still wasn't funny especially considering that an real-life man died, and not a sitcom character.
