RIP Jan-Michael Vincent

Dang, I forgot he was on the "Danger Island" shorts on "The Banana Splits."

 

Anyone remember Under Fire? Back in ‘83 he starred along Nick Nolte and Ed Harris in that movie.

 

One of those guys is not like the other two.

Odd stuff: when looking at the career of Luke Perry last week, I saw one of his first roles was in a show called the Voyagers. I absolutely loved that show when I was about five or six, and that may have been the first show that bummed me out when it was cancelled. I remember my mom telling me some time later that the show was cancelled because the main actor died in a stunt.

Had not thought of either until seeing perry’s IMDB, and then looked up what happened to the star, who was Jon Erik Hexum and who died playing with the “blanks” gun on the set of another show.

And then his name shows up here a few days later.
