Ramis got the hotter of the two chicks in Stripes.

I don't think either of them were camping out.

Yeah, I'd give PJ Soles the "Aunt Jemima treatment" in a heartbeat.

It's sad that a lot of borderline film buffs knew him, like PSH, as "thatguywho'ssogoodwhat'shisnameagain?" He was a true talent. His SCTV work, of course, was brilliant.

    RIP.

What a shame. So many laughs, over and over, credited to him. RIP.

"No pictures, thanks... we just want to go back to our room and have some really serious sex."

It may not be the exact line, but it still made me laugh.

Underappreciated is right. Look at this guy's resume and it's amazing how many great comedies he was integral in creating as some combination of writer, director, producer and/or actor. Including ones from that 70s and 80s era that changed what movie comedies are (Animal House, Stripes, Caddyshack, Stripes, Vacation, etc). He helped make superstars of guys like Murray and Belushi, but never became that big of a name himself. RIP to one hell of a creative talent.

Who do I quote in posts now? I've had entire newsroom conversations that were nothing but quoting his movies. Probably won't happen, but I'd love to see a montage of his work at the Oscars. Groundhog Day was a hell of a movie. Caddyshack, Stripes, Animal House....
Some people quote Shakespeare - I quote Harold Ramis movies.

    Son of bitch. Shit.

A guy who knew his place. His acting wasn't that good honestly, so he thrived behind the camera.

Didn't realize his role in Animal House.

So many memorable lines, The Wisonsin line is still one of my favorites.

RIP to a Second City genius. Unfortunately, I think we will be saying that more in the years ahead.
