    Dead at 43 of leukemia.

Could have had a decent NBA career but a back injury in rookie year may have been a big factor in not developing.

That's hilarious. If I remember correctly, Vandy students were whistled for a 'T' at a critical point for showering the court with tennis balls in a game against Florida, responding to a Schintzuis incident with a student over a tennis racket. Florida ended up winning by a point.

  9. Not only that, but the Gators were awarded two free throws for the tech with two seconds left when Vandy had the ball up by two. Schintzius hit both free throws to send it to overtime, and Florida won. The win ended up sealing the first SEC title for Florida... over Vanderbilt.
