RIP Calder Pickett (Kansas University professor)

    He died Tuesday at age 92.

    As a KU undergrad, I was convinced that he knew everything about the history of American journalism.

    Rest In Peace, Prof Pickett.

    I almost made it through the required reading: the autobiography by William Allen White.

    Really, I enjoyed his journalism history class and his journalism law class. A true KU legend.
