Herald mourns loss of beloved reporter Bruce Lerch

I'm glad to say he was a good friend of mine. He covered a lot of sports but his main passions seemed to be high school lacrosse and hockey and boy was he ever passionate about those things.
With as many schools as the Herald covers, I always admired the rapport he developed with the athletes.

He must have been an interesting person to have lacrosse and hockey as his passions. :)

Although, as a combination, I could see them as related, and if you especially like one, you would probably like the other.

    RIP, Bruce.

Wow. I'd fallen out of touch with him and had no idea he was sick.

Bruce was a good man and a talented, dedicated journalist. RIP.
