    RIP, and a couple things I'll always remember:

    -- Nolan Ryan striking out a Red and doing his impression of Lesley, and then the shot of Lesley laughing in the dugout.

    -- His turn as the Twins relief pitcher in "Little Big League."

    Japanese career. Blew his arm out. Became a tv clown/ personality but would come down to a navy base on weekends to play softball. Fun guy.
