    Bingo.

A few years back she was in a movie with Patton Oswalt and the incredibly underrated Simon Baker and I did a long interview with them sitting around a booth at a fake diner on our studio lot -- the thing went on for nearly an hour because the three of them were just ripping the shit out of each other. She really reminded me of that sportwriter girl we've all met -- and some are on here, of course -- who you just love to hang out with because they're just as crude and funny as you think you are. You could tell the two guys just thought she hung the moon.

    She needs her own show.

Isn't Mackenzie Phillips a better looking version of Shelley Duvall?

Or is it the other way around?

My sisters always watched it, at a time when we had no cable and four channels and I was stuck with it for 30 minutes. However, I remember one good line. Mackenzie Phillips' character has a nerd male friend at school who is lusting after the only other girl at the school laying more pipe than Mackenzie's character. However, he's too naive to know her reputation. He's finally told, "When she graduates the football team is going to retire her phone number."

You're forgetting the first season of Saved By The Bell.

And Ed Asner and Haley Joel Osment in "Thunder Alley," and the Rob Schneider vehicle "Men Behaving Badly."
