Bill Janklow, a former South Dakota governor and GOP Congressman died and his body was placed for public viewing at the State Capitol.

Janklow was convicted of vehicular manslaughter in 2004, and kept on speeding, right up until last year, with five tickets in the past four years.

Anyone think he should have received official honors after killing someone?

Sees no problem with the honor.

Janklow made a horrible mistake. He was found guilty in a court of law, and served his sentence. No problem with him receiving state honors. He was a good governor, and a smart man to boot (unlike that tool John Thune).

Everybody in rural South Dakota speeds.
