CNN is reporting the former Israeli PM is dead -- after EIGHT YEARS in a coma.

Was this common knowledge? I had no idea.

Wow, that's a long time to be in a coma.

You're "RIP"-ing Ariel Sharon, but think Bob Grant was a piece of shit? Interesting.

A lot more people are hating on Sharon, and they're the same people that would have hated Bob Grant.

Will be remembered as a ruthless iconoclast who eventually shifted gears and vacated Gaza.

Anyone know why Biden went to the funeral and not the Commander in Chief? It sure seems that when he has a chance to show favor to the country, he fumbles it. Or is Biden jewish?

Clip they showed on the news of Biden speaking at the funeral showed him wearing a skullcap, so that would lead me to believe that he is.

Headgear is worn out of respect, regardless of membership in the faith.
Fart's been to enough ethnic weddings by now to know.

VP's routinely go to funerals. Sitting President goes to funeral equals about a million times more security then they otherwise need, and no one really wants to deal with that at a funeral.
