RIP Ari Up, lead singer of the Slits

    Not really news since it happened Oct. 20, but just found out about it now. Always fascinated me how she had a crush on Johnny Rotten at 14, but her mother ended up marrying him (still together to this day too).

    Also, The Slits' cover of "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" was on the lastest episode of Eastbound and Down. I have to wonder if it was put there as a tribute.
