    Obama is going to nominate a black woman and the Senate is not going to give her a vote. Let the race war continue

    McConnell saying no replacement until the election. And I figure both sides would be satisfied with drawing legal cases out another year or more.
    And both parties will have longer to fundraise over this.

    It seems very likely Obama nominates Sri Srinivasan.

    Whether or not the Senate can hold off processing the nomination through the end of the year will be interesting theater, but bad for the country if they are able to succeed.

    Obama should put up whomever he wants, then, when McConnell and Co. refuse, just keep repeating the mantra "Do your job."

    Then, Democrats should also remind Republicans about the possibility of payback if the GOP candidate wins the presidency, and the Dems take back the Senate.
