    His book was great. It still baffles me that people are stupid enough to lose money to pool/card hustlers. Slim pointed out that if some someone you don't know walks up to you and wants to make a bet, no matter how unlikely it is, don't bet because he already knows the outcome. Good for him for making a living at it, though.
