That is quite different -- juicing and signing with different teams because they will pay you more are two different things.

And Bonds should be a first ballot guy without question.

Had to do with economics? Each New York team dumped him once.

If I knew you wouldn't lie your way back onto the board, I'd bet you on that.

So 28 guys didn't vote for Henderson?
    Are ballots eventually revealed?

Brings me to a third reason for non-unanimity....

A purely mediocre fielder with among the worst outfield arms in history.

Made Barry Bonds' are look like Ellis Valentine's.

Lie about what? And bet me on what?

    Please learn comprehension.

I didn't say he WILL be a first ballot hall of famer I said he SHOULD be a first ballot hall of famer.

    Big difference.

I am not so naive as to believe that a number of the nerds who vote for these things wouldn't leave him off of the ballot just to make some sort of a politically correct statement about roids......

How about the fact he was in his 40s and wouldn't go away. If Willie Mays had wanted to stick around at 44, there would be teams crazy enough to sign him too.

Nothing Rickey did from 1999 on, when he played for five of those teams, should have been held against him by the Hall voters.

Bonds will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. And should be.

Now you are sniffing glue and that is the end of this discussion. Both Bonds and Henderson are considered among the best defensive left-fielders of all time and Bonds had a very good arm.

Will be? I'd put a few quid on that.

Hey, where's Buckweaver to wax poetic about Joe Gordon?

Bullshit. Rickey was an outstanding left fielder in his prime. Look at the stats. Once led the league in putouts as a LF.

Just saying, he doesn't deserve to be a 100-percent guy.
