Post-Gazette says RR could be in crimson in 48 hours or less.

    1. "Could be" is a neat phrase.

    2. That'd be a mistake.

A BIIIIIIIIIG mistake if he goes.

At WVa, if he goes 7-5, 8-4, and 8-4 the next three years, he'll still be worshipped like a deity.

At Bama, if he goes 7-5, 8-4 and 8-4, he'll get tarred and feathered, and strung up from the nearest tree.

In the SEC, you gotta battle your way through the SEC. In the Big East, you got about two teams to beat.

I'll select "Poorly edited, bizarrely constructed ledes" for $300, Alex.

Agree, Starman, but stupidity knows no strangers.

At Alabama, he has a chance at greatness....

    Not at WVa.

He has the brains and gumption Schiano lacks.

In aisle 4, just past the pumpernickel, there are a couple clues left... go grab one. Quick.
  9. Rich Rod has a massive ego, and it needs to be stroked. Not saying it's a done deal that he's off to 'Bama, but he sure is hell wants everybody talking about it.

If he's smart, he waits a year and goes to a program with less baggage.

In the last 20 years, both schools have played for approximately the same number of national titles: One. And the Mountaineers finished the 1993 season undefeated only to get robbed of playing for a national title by pollsters who preferred a one-loss Florida State get its crack at Nebraska.

There's very little difference. WVa has a pretty committed fan base, a decent recruiting, good name, decent conference...it's a mistake. It just is.

    Couldn't agree more, Alma.

Why would he want to leave WVU for a guaranteed ulcer at 'Bama? It's not worth it.
