In the past few days, I began watching "The West Wing" from the start.

While I am anything but a fan of politics and because I was always working, I never caught a single episode live. Consequently, I came to it about halfway through its run.

Watching it again from scratch, I had forgotten how remarkable the show was. I've always been partial to shows with ensemble casts and TWW certainly fit the bill. I imagine that's why I was hooked by "Lost," as well.

Compared to most of what's presented these days on television, it only serves to deepen my appreciation for TWW.
