    *ching*.... Blades of Steel.

    Ok, no blood. But plenty of fights. Loser goes to the penalty box. Start a fight in front of the opposing goaltender, and you're awarded a penalty shot. Plus, you get to watch the goalie flail his stick like a dying bird while you raise your hands in triumph (and your teammates skate in place around you) after every goal.

    MicroLeague was great. I couldn't stand Bird vs. Erving. Larry could shoot 3s and Dr. J could dunk ... and that was about it.

    I liked how you would take Bird into the blind corner and launch a three that you couldn't see.

    Yeah, Bird had the definite advantage IIRC - especially if you were playing someone who could steal the ball: Steal, three point line, shoot. Steal, three point line, shoot.
