    Amen, SC

No, WB, I don't think I'm making more than what I deserve. But I know I gotta pay my dues, and I know I will be someday. I think I'm making what a good writer a month out of college should be making. I make enough to pay for an apartment, lease a new car, pay a mammoth cell phone bill, pay student loans, pay to drink three nights a week, etc.

But I love this shit, and I feel like if you don't love it, find a new gig.

SC - You're sure as shit that some old farts aren't earning their pay. Hell no they're not earning their pay.

And no, I don't think anyone out there can do our jobs. But I do think that good editors at good papers find good talent to do their jobs.

A little different tone. A more informed opinion. If we're lucky.

Again: I love "this shit." But there is more to "this shit" than writing about games. When you're not covering your first rodeo, you'll see, too.

WB - I apologize about the tone. This is a heated conversation, and I can get too heated. Sorry.

Now, about that informed opinion. What about my opinion isn't informed?
