    And it goes without saying that this is awful shit. Hoping for the best won't do much in the big picture, but it's not going to stop me.

    Wow. Of all the papers I associated with their cities, the Post-Intelligencer was one of them.

    I feel awful for the people in Seattle.

    That's just awful. I've always thought Art Thiel was a way underrated columnist... though obviously I fear less for his well being than many other people at the place. I wish them all the best.

    That blows, I read the P-I (and the Times for that matter) every day. One of the nicest people I ever met in the business works for the P-I.
