There is no injury risk for LeBron any more. He's a made man in the NBA.
Even if LeBron blows out his knee sometime in the next two years, he'll still do very well when his next free agent deal comes around. He's LeBron Freaking James. He'd get a max deal in 2016 on name alone. If an obviously declining Dwyane Wade can command $15 million-plus for what you figure will be half a mediocre season -- shoot, if Greg Oden can still be on an NBA roster in 2014 -- then even a recovering and aging LeBron will get paid plenty for as long as he wants to stay in the league.

On the same note, that Gordon Hayward gets a max deal -- and Utah matches it -- tells you something about either the desperation for talent, or the amount of cash everyone has on hand. Hayward's decent, but hardly build-your-franchise-around-him good.

    This is spectacular.

It appears Team LeBron has filled the all-important role of Backup Coach.

Mark Jackson has signed with LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul, league source confirms. @daldridgetnt reported earlier.

Hopefully the inevitable 30 for 30 answers this. Certainly is a mystery.

    That's funny and probably true.

I tend to think that if LeBron isn't happy with the current coach after this season, the first call could go to Calipari.
