I will be in Tahoe in two weeks for my sister's wedding. I believe it's being held somewhere around Wild Goose? I have no idea what that means, but I am bringing bread crumbs.

Don't get in a boat with Al Neri.

I didn't like Tahoe much, except for the camping and hiking I did there. Too many snotty ass people running around, but I made the best of it. Found a little restaurant on the north end, right on the water. Can't remember the name, but it was a cabin-like atmosphere. Pretty much what I wanted to experience there, but the food/service wasn't great. But, I was eating on the water at Lake Tahoe.

Almost got stuck on a mountain while I was there. While climbing down, I severely twisted an already weak ankle and had to wait about two hours till I could climb down. I had plenty of water and a couple of good cigars, though.

    Garwoods? Tahoe City.

    Great atmosphere. Food OK.

Yep. Just looked it up. That's the one. Really nice place. And, like you say, food OK.
