Remember when Chris Mortensen was a journalist?

    Because I don't.

I just saw a commerical on ESPNews for ESPN Mobile. I wasn't really paying attention, but from what I gather, if you buy on of these shitty paper weights phones, you get entered into a drawing where Mortensen will show up at your fantasy football draft and help you out.

    Seriously.

Chris Mortensen's a fucking clown anymore.

  2. He's still a really good reporter.
However, when you take the money to join the clown college, sooner or later, they fit you for the rubber nose.

He used to be respectable... Now he's a shill for agents, so is Pasquarelli...

Remember when ESPN used to emphasis S(ports) instead of the bad excuse
    for E(ntertainment)?

  5. I'd much rather have Eric Karabell than Mort for my fantasy draft.

(No, I'm not Eric, nor do I know him)

Based on the numbers for the phone sales that came out recently, can't they just afford to have Mort visit every person who bought one?

What does "anymore" mean at the end of your last sentence?

ESPN just got done showing about 54 of the 63 games in the World Cup -- and they don't show enough sports?
    Please.

He meant real sports, not kick the can around the infield.

  10. And we're off...

Going back a few years, but I sort of recall his nickname was Werewolf Mort, and I never knew why. Anyone know the origin of this? (And I hope the answer isn't libelous.)
