    I liked the column a little bit, but I agree that he's obviously not the only guy Lidle offered to take up for a ride. Plus, the beginning gives you the impression that Lidle said to him on Tuesday, 'hey, come fly with me tomorrow,' when it obviously didn't happen that way. So he's not at all like the person who was ticketed but missed Flight 93, or Flight 007, etc.

    Worry not, IJAG, even 7-11 clerks were left unmoved by "Death of a Racehorse." I've been left colder by episodes of Tom & Jerry.
