    Well, certainly "traditional Wall Street" isn't suggesting regulation. Nobody invites regulators in. To answer your question, though, when something crazy happens in financial markets there are always people who step up to tsk tsk and give a convoluted regulatory answer. It's often one of the arsonists who created the conditions for the crazy thing happening, riding in the fire truck to put out the fire with more arson.

    Honestly, Wall Street is just a huge Ponzi scheme that finds new ways to add suckers to throw into the pot.

    Now, that pot never seems to stop growing. My question is how are they getting it to grow so much with a supposed set amount of money in the world, or an amount that grows at a reasonable rate? I am sure Ragu has explained that somewhere.

    It just seems like Wall Street creates money out of thin air.
