It's a pity that baseball is so boring that he had to resort to this.

In other news, Brendan Fraser and Al Brooks are in talks to develop the movie as a sequel to the 1994 hit "The Scout".

I'm thinking "The Scout 2: Balls and Strikes" or perhaps "The Scout 2: Scout harder and harder and faster, almost there, AHHHH!"

You have to plow through hours of dreck to find a golden nugget. I am still laughing.

Ah, Jesse Levis, I knew you when.

But not when I was 15, thank god.

What's most killing me is that the mental image got a bit too vivid for a second... due mostly to the fact that it's a safe bet that he's circumsized.

I leave for a quart of milk and I come home to find my son treating his body like an amusement park.

I've always sorta held the belief that baseball scouting is one of the few jobs that will warp you quicker than sports journalism. Few of the scouts I've encountered have struck me as gentlemen who have mastered their lives.

    Huh huh...I said "master"...huh huh.

You can't scout talent in magazines. You have to be watching the pool.
