Anybody watching this? The usual drunken escapades have commenced for another three months. Best moment so far was the beefy dude with all the muscles kept getting beaten when he tried to show off by armwrestling people (with noticeably smaller arms).
But the editing is really strange this year, people move in and out of shots, "housemates" go through radical mood changes from shot to shot. (And not in a Brooke from Denver kind of way). It's just weird.

This series jumped the shark about 100 hookups ago.

I haven't watched more than a stray episode in I don't know how many years. Saw the premiere of this one late one night, and I might have to watch. And I will not feel shame.

    (OK, a little shame.)

This series interests me, and always has, from the perspective that I often work with people in and around this age group. That, and the show is about 75% put on (which it did not used to be) following a tried-and-true formula of sex alcohol, racism-for-show and selfishness. I consider it to be, along with most of the other shows on MTV, the most pernicious influence on young kids today.

MTV, as a network, actually aims to show the worst America has to offer.
