In short, it's an opportunity to get published at major media organizations and we're now offering some on-air opportunities for our live sports programming. Previous 12 interns have stayed on with the company in paid roles before taking full-time jobs at major media organizations.

This is an unpaid internship for the Fall 2012 in Washington D.C./Maryland/Va.

Synthesis Multimedia Productions is at the forefront of video production for major media organizations like The Washington Post, other media organizations, non-profits, universities and small and large businesses.

As a contractor to these companies, SMP produces video journalism for web stories, commercials for clients, branding, marketing tools and live programming, such as live conferences, events and sporting events for web sites and mobile devices.

Currently, SMP is in search of interns with experience (or the desire to learn) video production to produce packages for major media organizations and clients.

This is a hands-on opportunity, allowing interns to gain bylines at major media organizations, including video production, original shooting/editing, as well as some on-air opportunities.
