If they had major knee surgery exactly a year to the day they FINISHED those seasons.

He had 499 yards through 6 games and the proceeded to rip off 153, 123, 182, and 171. Was held to 108, then put up 210, 154, 212 down the stretch.

And Davis needed to run up his stats in a meaningless week 17 game to do it.

Assuming the swelling in Adrian's leg miraculously went a way by Jan. 1 2012 enabling him to have his surgery, he was likely immobilized for 8 weeks. This means, he was probably able to walk on his new twig of a leg around March 1, 2012. From there, it likely took a month to 6 weeks to get the leg strong enough to jog and maybe even start striding. This brings us to mid-April about 4.5 months from the season. In those 4.5 months, he got his leg in such great shape that he could cut, sprint, plant and do things just as well as before. Simply amazing that not only he could play so well, but that his body could basically regenerate. I think he might be one of the X-Men.

    3. LaDainian Tomlinson
    4. Marshall Faulk
    5. Adrian Peterson

I think LDT's MVP season was better than this one.

No way. I don't care how many TDs Tomlinson scored. Unless his knee was shredded eight months before his season started, he's not in the conversation.
