Ramsey family cleared in JonBenet case

I think Elizabeth Smart's dad killed JonBenet.

 

They didn't refuse. They gave physical evidence to the police within days of the murder -- blood, hair, prints, etc.

If I were John Ramsey and the Boulder police/DA called me, I would probably tell them to fuck off. I say probably because I might throw in a string of additional expletives. He has been branded as a man who sexually abused his daughter, had a severe pornography addiction, kept a mistress and a man who murdered his daughter to cover up any or all of those moral failings. None of those have been proven true with substantial and reliable facts. But he has been found guilty of all of them in a court of public opinion as a result of police leaks. I don't know to what extent he is still bitter, but he has come by all of his bitterness the hard way.

 

They definitely should have waited to have solid evidence in hand before announcing any suspects in the case.

This and the Duke lacrosse rape case are good examples of what NOT to do with criminal investigations.

 

These people hired public relations lawyers after the murder. What kind of people do that?

 

I was surprised by this news.

 

Convenient that they waited 12 years to exonerate them, now that all the defamation stautes of limitation have expired.

 

DNA tests just caught up.
