rams decision?

is jason garrett about to be named the pick in st. louis. seems that way from the post-dispatch and the sporting news. wonder what this does for coaching plans, including head coach, in dallas w/ brian stewart already fired as d.c.

This after the papers in St. Louis have basically bashed Garrett all week.

 

Phillips will stick around for one more year (since Jones already committed to that) and then they'll do a massive clean house job and go for some big name (Shanahan, Cowher, Gruden, etc.).

 

Garrett leaving is the best thing that could happen to Jerry since he committed to Boy Wonder as his coach-in-waiting. Turned out Garrett wasn't that good, buddy. Even money it's Holmgren in 2010.

Huh. I figured Mike Shanahan was the next Cowboys coach in waiting.

 

Holmgren and Jerry are tight. Don't know about Shanahan and Jerry.
