Rambo: The bodies pile up like never before!

"Rambo", the upcoming fourth film in the Sylvester Stallone-led action series, has the biggest body count by far of the series according to The Los Angeles Times. Film writer John Mueller made a comparison list of the body counts in the previous films. The biggest difference is that Rambo keeps his shirt on throughout, Rambo is barely shot at, and there's actually less torture scenes than both the sequels. Here's the comparison of most stats:

Rather than examining the body count, shouldn't they examine whether or not this was a film worth making in the first place? Just askin'.

 

Anyone notice that Stallone, in this latest Rambo movie, looks exactly like the actor making a parody of him in the Remember the Spartans trailers?

 

In the Superman: Doomsday DVD, at least 20 people bite it. And this is a cartoon directed toward kids.

 

All I can think about is that stupid, "leto the bodies hit the floor" song.

 

I hear ya. I don't plan to see it, but found it interesting that First Blood only had one death.

Despite this movie's lofty death toll, it apparently doesn't have anything on the Lord of the Rings trilogy. According to moviebodycounts.com, Return of the King has the highest total in movie history with 836 (how they counted that, I have no idea). The entire series: 1,422.

 

If I'm going to see a movie like Rambo (which I wouldn't, even under threat of having to listen to a series of George Bush speeches), I'm going in with the mindset of "lots of people are going to be wasted." I'd be disappointed if the body count was low, if that were my kind of flick.

 

So we're to assume that Gault is the only one to die in the First Blood?

What about all the folks in the woods, like the guy who got all the sharpened sticks in the midsection?

And don't forget all the dogs Rambo killed.

 

Is anyone over the age of 21 actually going to pay money to see Rambo?

 

I'll pay to see it if Rambo gets it.

 

I'd pay to see RAMBO see Rambo.

 

Who was the one person killed in First Blood?

And how can there be 0 good guys killed, 0 bad guys killed by Rambo and 0 bad guys killed by supporting characters if there was actualy one person killed?
